Who We Are
Exponential Humanitarianism – Taking one thousand people and empowering each with funding and resources to ignite one thousand more, Project 1K’s mission is to positively impact one million people of Generations Y and Z.

Project 1K is a humanitarian organization empowering local youths from Generations Y and Z to develop local humanitarian projects with direct ties and impacts to global humanitarian efforts. As architects of Exponential Humanitarianism, P1K believes that large-scale global change can occur within the span of our current generation.

What We Do
Project1K is an organization that connects humanitarian needs with humanitarian resource. P1K develops programs for Generation Y and Z to educate, enable, and empower local youth to answer the call for local humanitarian needs through direct humanitarian action. Our programs focus on the relationship between global needs and local resources.

Every Project 1K Program is a not-for-profit undertakingand provides funding, education, and sustainable resources that have an immediate impact on our local communities while also, often through partnerships with global humanitarian organizations, directly impacting a similar project globally.

Organizations:

American Federation of Motorcyclists

Founded in 1954, the AFM is the oldest racing organization in the country dedicated to motorcycle road racing. The 2013 AFM race season takes place at Buttonwillow, Thunderhill, and Sonoma Raceway.

American Motorcyclist Association

The AMA is the largest motorsports organization in the world. It hosts more than 80 professional motorcycle events per year. The Project 1K team will race the AMA events at Sonoma Raceway this year.
